This article guides you through the process of connecting Google Ads to Peaka, allowing you to seamlessly access your Google Ads data within the Peaka platform.

Prerequisites

Before you start, you will need the following information from Google Ads.

  • Client ID (required for advanced authentication)
  • Client Secret (required for advanced authentication)
  • Developer Token (required for advanced authentication)
  • Customer ID

Follow the steps below to obtain it:

  1. To obtain get Client ID and Client Secret, go to the Goole Developers Console.

  2. Click Select a project ➝ New Project ➝ the Create button.

  1. Enter your Project name ➝ click the Create button.
  1. Click OAuth consent screen in the left side menu ➝ choose User Type ➝ click the Create button.
  1. Add Application name ➝ Support email ➝ Authorized domain ➝ Developer content information ➝ click the Save and Continue button.

  2. Complete all 4 steps in OAuth consent screen ➝ click the Back to Dashboard button.

  1. Go to Credentials ➝ click Create Credentials ➝ select OAuth client ID from the dropdown list.
  1. Open the dropdown list Application type ➝ select Web application ➝ enter the name of your OAuth 2.0 client.

  2. Enter your site URL in Authorized JavaScript origins ➝ in Authorized redirect URIs, enter the page URL where you wanted your users redirected back after they have authenticated with Google ➝ click the Create button.

Connecting Google Ads to Peaka

Now that you have obtained the necessary integration data and credentials, you can connect Google Ads to Peaka using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the data model page in Peaka.

  2. Click the “Bring your data” button to initiate the connection process.

  3. In the modal that appears, select “Google Ads” as your connection type.

  4. Enter a name for your connection, input the credentials you obtained in the previous steps.

  1. Click “Sign in with Google” to create your Google Ads connection.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully connected Google Ads to Peaka. You can now access and manage your Google Ads data seamlessly within the Peaka platform.
