This article guides you through the process of connecting PostHog to Peaka, allowing you to seamlessly access your PostHog data within the Peaka platform.

Prerequisites

Before you start, you will need the following information from PostHog.

  • Personal API Key
  • Domain

Follow the steps below to obtain it:

  1. To obtain the Personal API Key:

    • Navigate to the Personal API keys section in your PostHog account.
    • Click the “Create Personal API key” button.
    • In the modal that appears, select either your Organization, Project, or both.
    • Under scopes, select at least “Read” permissions to view your PostHog data in Peaka.
    • Give your API key a label and click “Create key”.
    • Copy the generated API key (note: it will only be shown once).

Connecting PostHog to Peaka

  1. Navigate to the data model page in Peaka.

  2. In the side menu bar, click the “New Data Source” button to initiate the connection process.

  3. In the modal that appears, select “PostHog” as your data source.

  4. Enter a name for your data source and click the “Next” button.

  1. You’ll proceed to the second step where you need to select your Organization and Organization Project from the dropdown menus. After making your selections, click the “Next” button to continue.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully connected PostHog to Peaka. You can now access and manage your PostHog data seamlessly within the Peaka platform.
